How to Bleach Your Clothing

This a brief summary on how to bleach white clothing using chlorine bleach. Use the directions on the chlorine bleach bottle for further help.

Work in a well ventilated area.

Sort clothes. Bleach only white clothing.

Do not bleach elastic or spandex type clothing.

Most modern washing machines have a bleach dispenser. Follow the directions given in the washing machine manual.

If a bleach dispenser is not available, dilute the bleach in water and add to the washer after the clothes have been agitated 5 minutes.
