* You can use the silica gel in cat litter to eliminate bedbugs.

* The silica gel needs to be ground up into a powder and sprinkled in the infested areas. It will stick to the bugs and dehydrate them, thereby killing them.

* Note: you can use a coffee/spice grinder to powder the silica gel.
